Texas Emissions Reduction Plan (TERP)
The Texas Emissions Reduction Program (TERP) provides monetary incentives for projects to improve air quality in the state’s non-attainment areas. If you are thinking about purchasing a new vehicle, replacing an old vehicle or a piece of heavy-duty equipment, or minimizing pollution from your business and construction activities, financial assistance may be available.
Eligible activities include:
● Lease or purchase of new vehicles/equipment |
● Demonstration of new technology |
● Replacement of vehicles/equipment |
● On Vehicle electrification and idling infrastructure |
● Repower of vehicles/equipment |
● Rail relocation and improvements |
● Installation of refueling
infrastructure |
● Use of qualifying fuels |
● Retrofits or add-ons of
emissions-reduction technology |
● On-site electrification and idling reduction infrastructure |
